integration and efficiency
Executive's relationship with major retailers operating in Italy has intensified over the years, evolving from the mere provision of electronic products to value-added distribution characterized by an increasingly wide range of services offered to customers. These services currently range from the design of display spaces to physical on -shelf intervention, carried out through the collection and analysis of relevant economic data. Through the EDI system, Executive promotes and incentivizes integration with its customers with the knowledge that a fruitful collaboration within the supply chain can bring benefits to all its players.
maximizing display spaces
the attentive work done in this channel includes integrating as much as possible the distributor's scope of responsibility and action in the phases of the goods' transport, all the way down to the point of contact with the consumer. In-store activities require careful planning, monitoring, controlling and implementing corrective or proactive actions. The right allocation of available space, aimed at the best possible selection for the consumer, is carefully planned alongside the retailer and the industry.
the constant updating of the size and characteristics of the space available at each store and what is displayed in this space constitute very important information. The collection of this data is part of the continuous in-store service offered by Executive, which gives the retailer ample visibility. Alongside rack jobber surveys, innovative technological solutions are implemented for precise and consistent mapping. Particularly:
store clustering, grid management and assortment definition
the maps of the display spaces are constantly updated, and planograms are reset on the basis of rotation and trend analyses, the product's local life cycle and the agreed on commercial policies. This activity is based firmly on the flows of data that pass through the process of managing the relationship between Executive, the customer and the manufacturer. The ordinary pathway can be summarized as follows:
massification management and promotional activities
special attention is paid to correct stock rotation and management of out-of-stock, overstocked and end-of-life products along with those with high price elasticity. In order to ensure that offers are always aligned with consumer needs, promotional operations and price reductions are put in place and are accompanied by designing and implementing communication and organization of in-store layout – i.e. shelf dressing, displays, promotional baskets, crowners and digital totems.
analytics: category metrics, score cards & category assessment
stock and sell-out data can be physically collected by in-store service activities carried out by rack jobbers, or transmitted directly by the stores or the retailer. The integration of sources and data normalization configure multi-device processing and consultation tools which are available in real time, with profitability and essential KPI (key performance index) indicators such as OSA (on-shelf availability), OOS (out-of-stock items), market share and price positioning. Information collected and shared in this way fuels the automatic reordering process and sets the pace of shipment frequency and in-store interventions, i.e. it generates concrete operational processes based on economic content. The operating activities generate structured knowledge which impacts the system in the form of analytical scripts used in the the revision of process settings, such as a change to the assortments and allocation of display spaces of the client.
our advanced logistic services are characterized by maximum flexibility and are structured to meet the SLAs (service level agreements) requested by customers for packing, shipping and delivery. Executive's internal logistics team can handle any type of shipment without any quantity limits per item (even to the smallest degree), consistently meeting orders for the continuous supply that follows sell-out trends. The packaging is customized according to the delivery platforms and individual stores' requirements: packaging, identification of packages and products, anti-theft devices, creation of multi-packs, bundling, etc. Shipments can be carried out ordinarily, via cross-docking, drop shipment, within 24 hours of an order, with booking management or scheduled deliveries. The data for the processing of orders, shipments and invoicing are available in the data interchange format chosen by the customer, for example EDI, email or FTP. Each shipment and each single package can also include a DESADV file with product, packaging and shipping details.
the ability to create innovative solutions through the mastery of programming tools and a passion for technology, and also continuous attention to open debates on future developments, are made available to the channel in order to sound out the possibility of introducing state-of-the-art, or even experimental products, services and solutions. The differentiation and selection of original products are considered key to success and bringing value into each business relationship.
